today.
lovely, incessant downpours
sloshing off shivapuri hill
behind us.
shaku and i were married
twenty years ago
today.
above the fish ponds
below the stone stalagtite
at sesh narayan mandir.
the rain has
always
kept us from leaving
this valley.
